Public Records Requests
TRSL is a state governmental agency and is bound by the Louisiana Public Records Law and the Louisiana Constitution. As such, TRSL complies with all laws related to the production of records determined to be public records as well as the TRSL Public Records Policy.
IMPORTANT: Certain information submitted to TRSL by members, employers, and others may become public record unless it is exempt from disclosure under the public records law or right to privacy guarantees in the state constitution. TRSL will not disclose a person’s Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial institution account number, credit or debit card number, or armed forces identification number as part of a public records request.
